All chocolates ship in a climate controlled packaging. We specially package and ship your gift so that it will arrive in perfect condition, no matter how warm the climate. Each order comes with Leonidas packaging, and upon request, we'll also include a complimentary gift card with your personal message. Our world famous chocolates are fresh and flown in weekly from Brussels, Belgium. Our chocolates are made of the freshest ingredients and should be consumed within 14 days of delivery. Leonidas chocolate maintains its freshness the best in a cool and dry area with temperatures between 59 and 65 degrees. Our chocolates are shipped from Leonidas-USA.com, 1157 Wilmette Ave, Wilmette IL 60091 by Fedex, a top rated in the industry for its shipping services and handling reliability. We are not responsible for damages, losses or delays caused by Fedex - please refer to www.Fedex.com to shipping terms and damages. We may elect to require signature for delivery. Please review your addresses carefully before submitting - we will charge additional $12 for incorrect address. While we bring every week fresh chocolates to our shipping center, it is possible that we may be out of stock of the particular praline that you desire. We will ship and match the missing item or packaging with the closest possible flavor and packaging. You can always contact us for further information. Special gift packaging and corporate gift items Some larger gift packaging items require more preparation and lead time. We will make our best effort to get the items to you quickly and with least cost. You will be advised of the lead time if the gift is not shipped next day. Leonidas Satisfaction Guarantee: Freshness, Quality and Choices at Leonidas apply also in our Service. However, if for any reason your order does not meet with your satisfaction, contact us by email and enclose pictures for a prompt, courteous response. However, we cannot replace shipment when the damage is caused by Fedex or if the shipment was damaged after arrival, or if Fedex did not deliver on time/perform as contracted. Order processing: All orders placed before 10:00am CST will be processed that same day. If your order is placed after 11:00am CST, please allow 24 hours for processing. You need to ensure that someone is at shipment destination to receive the order - Leonidas is not responsible for loss or damages caused by shipment delays. Warm temperature states: Since temperatures vary across the country we may elect not to ship over a weekend to guarantee its arrival in premium condition. Therefore, we can not guarantee Monday deliveries on any order. From May 1st to October 1st and year-around to warm climates, such as AZ, FLA, TX, NM, LA, GA, Southern CA, we require overnight shipping. We are not responsible for heat damages for 2-day air or ground shipments, and/or if the recipient is not present at the time of the delivery. Christmas and Valentines: Christmas and Valentines may also extend the Fedex ground shipping times and we cannot guarantee their on time performance.
